  9. Tournaments Rules

    1. 13 player max per team (State Rules) 

    2. 20 on a team in the regular season. 

    3. Players Going to a district tournament must play on the first day, or they won't play the rest of the tournament 

    4. if you add a player, he can not be a pitcher. 

    5. All 12 players have to bat. Every age group and Bat through thru the line. 

    6.  time limits 

    7. no more alternates for all-stars 

    8. Baseball tournaments are going to be quicker: they are going to double up 

    9. Starting games Saturday Double headers July 


    State Tournament for Softball: (July 7th - July 11th)

    1. Seth to vote for the Softball tournament

      1. Dixie State Softball Tournament: 9 - 10 & 11 - 12

        1.  Angels and Darlins

      2.  Pay Dixie $1200 per age group 

    4. Tournament could bring in $15k - $25k

    5. We need a lot of Help 3x bigger than what we have done.

    6. Dixie Provides 

      1. The Empires (Lee on the tournament)

      2. Dixie handles trophies - but we have to pay them back for it 

      3. State Championship Shirts - They provide them - but we have to pay them back for it

    7. What we need to provide

      1. Fields need to be Ready 

      2. Official Score Keeper, 

      3. We handle the gate fee, officer is available

LIGHTS Discussion 

  • The electric bill has gone up $500

  • More travel ball using it 

  • What usage difference from last year to this year?

  • Robert: says 12 people want the lights on?

  • John thinks they are using more power,

    • Wants to know what last year: Info on usage and bill cost.  

  • Seth: going from last year to this year. 

  • Robert: is going to look into bill increase with the electric company. 

  • Seth: Set a schedule per day 6-8 pm 

  • Robert: thinks we need to have a sign-up on the fields,

    • Brandon Shelly is asking for favors.
